LIC AAO Full Form

The full form of LIC AAO is Life Insurance Corporation of India Assistant Administrative Officer. The LIC AAO exam is conducted by the Life Insurance Corporation of India to recruit candidates for various positions within the Assistant Administrative Officer (AAO) category.

LIC AAO Notification Date 2025

The LIC AAO 2024 notification is expected to be officially issued in March 2025


LIC AAO Registration 2025

The registration for the LIC AAO exam is expected to begin in the 1st week of March 2025. The last date for registration and online fee payment is expected to be in the 3rd week of March 2025


LIC AAO Admit Card 2025

The Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) is expected to release the LIC AAO Admit Card approximately 15 days before the date of commencement of the exam. The exact release date has not been announced yet, but it is expected to be released soon


LIC AAO Exam Date 2025

The LIC AAO 2025 exam is expected to be held in May 2025. The main exam will be held tentatively in June or July 2025.

LIC AAO Exam Eligibility 2025

Here are the eligibility criteria for the LIC AAO Exam:

Nationality: The candidate must be a citizen of India.

Age Limit: The candidate age between 21 years and should not be more than 30 years of age. 

Educational Qualifications:

  • For AAO Generalist category, the candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
  • For AAO Legal, the candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree in Law or LLM from a recognized Indian University/Institution. Three years of Bar experience is essential.
  • For AAO Chartered Accountant, the candidate must be a Graduate from an Indian University and also should have passed the final examination of ICAI.

The LIC AAO exam is conducted in two stages: Prelims and Mains. Here is the duration for each stage:

  1. Preliminary Exam: The total duration of the online written preliminary exam is 1 hour

  2. Mains Exam: The total duration for the mains exam is 2 hours 30 minutes

      • Insurance & Financial Market Awareness. There is also a descriptive test of English Language which is qualifying in nature.

Please note that the exam will be conducted in multiple shifts with different sets of question papers.
