IISER IAT Full Form
The full form of IISER IAT is Indian Institutes of Science Education and Research Aptitude Test. It is an entrance examination conducted by the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) for admission into its 5-Year Integrated BS-MS program.
This is a computer-based and consists of 60 questions, 15 questions each from Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Physics.
The total exam time is 180 minutes. For Each correct answer contain 4 marks, each incorrect answer leads to the deduction of 1 mark, and unanswered questions are awarded 0 mark. Therefore, the maximum marks in IAT are 240.

Step 5: Download the admit card and take a printout to be carried to the examination centre on the test day.

IISER IAT Exam Eligibility 2024
Here are the eligibility criteria for the IISER IAT Exam:
- Nationality: Applicants must be Indian nationals, OCI/PIO/Foreign Nationals.
- Educational Qualification: The candidates must have passed the Class XII
- Subjects in Class XII: Candidates must have taken at least three subjects among Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics and Physics during their Class XII (or equivalent) examination
- Marks in Class XII:
- Candidates belonging to SC/ST/PwD require to score a minimum of 55% marks in their Class XII (or equivalent) examination.
- Candidates belonging to other categories require to score a minimum of 60% marks in their Class XII (or equivalent) examination.
