MPPSC Syllabus 2024 & Exam Pattern for Prelims and Mains

MPPSC Full Form

The full form of MPPSC is Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission.

This is an independent body in the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh that recruit eligible candidates for various posts in the state government through Combined Competitive Examination (CCE) and State Service Exam (SSE).

i.e. State Administrative Service Deputy District President, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Additional Assistant Development Commissioner, and Block Development Officer.

The commission was established under the provisions of Article 315 of the Constitution of India.

The online registration for the Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission (MPPSC) Exam 2024 began on 19th January 2024. The last date to apply online was 18th February 2024.

MPPSC Exam Eligibility 2024

Eligibility CriteriaDetails
NationalityThe candidate must be a citizen of India
Educational QualificationThe candidate must have a bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognised university or educational institution
Age Limit (Non-Uniformed Post)Minimum age: 21 years, Maximum age: 40 years
Age Limit (Uniformed Post)Minimum age: 21 years, Maximum age: 33 years
Age Relaxation• 5 years for all women candidates irrespective of their domicile
• 3 years for candidates belonging to the OBC category,
• 5 years for SC and ST categories
Special Conditions• Male candidates with more than one wife (living) are not eligible.
• Female candidates who have married a person already having a wife (living) are not eligible.

Please note that the age limit will be computed as of 1st January 2024². Also, all the aspiring candidates have to be registered with the employment office of the Madhya Pradesh state².

The starting salary of an MPPSC PCS officer is around INR 56,100 per month, which includes a basic pay, allowances, and other perks such as government-provided housing, transportation, and medical facilities.

The salary structure increases with promotions and seniority, with the highest-ranking officers earning up to INR 2,50,000 per month.
